SUPPORT THE CHILI CHALLENGE: Since 2001, the Isle of Iowa Parrot Head Club and the Linn County Blues Society have sponsored the annual Chili Challenge.

This is a friendly chili “cook-off” competition with 24 club contestants and 6 professionals competing. The public is welcome to taste all 30 recipes and vote for their favorite. This event also includes a huge silent auction that has something for everyone.

All proceeds go to the HD Youth Center and the Free Medical Clinic.

Tickets go on sale starting in December. The event is held in February.

Contact Steve Springer at 319-270-9315 for Chili Challenge tickets or for more information on this event.
